Who we are
Register My Photos is a trading name of CHENFLOW LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 12064784. Registered office: 5th Floor, 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5PF, United Kingdom. Email: hello@registermyphotos.com.
What the service does
Register My Photos is software that runs in your web browser. It checks photo files against the format rules the U.S. Copyright Office publishes for group registration of published and unpublished photographs, and prepares a titles list, zip files and a filing guide. It does not file anything for you and does not give legal advice. It does not decide whether your photos are published, who the author or claimant is, or whether registration is right for you. We are not a law firm and are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the U.S. Copyright Office.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for your application and everything in it, including publication status and dates, authorship, ownership and titles, and for checking the files before you upload them. Only add photos you are entitled to register. The Copyright Office's rules, templates and fees can change; check its current instructions before filing.
Buying a license
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's own terms apply to the purchase.
Annual license: $59 (US dollars) a year. Prepares files for unlimited claims for 12 months and renews yearly until canceled. A license is for the buyer and their own photos or their business. Keys must not be shared publicly or resold. We may stop a key that is being shared, after telling you by email.
Canceling and refunds
You can cancel renewal at any time from the link in your receipt email; your license keeps working until the end of the paid year. You can get a full refund within 14 days of a payment, including a renewal, only if nothing has been exported with your license key since that payment. An export is any download of a titles list, CSV copy or zip. Before you pay, the pricing page asks you to confirm that you want immediate access and understand that you lose your 14 day right to cancel once you export a pack (a titles list, CSV copy or zip); we keep a record of that confirmation and of the time of each export. After an export, or after 14 days, we refund only a duplicate charge or a technical fault that stops the service working as described and that we cannot fix. Refunded licenses stop working. See our refund policy. Where the law where you live gives you a right to cancel or a refund that goes further, that right applies.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available, but do not promise it will always be available or error free. The checks work without our server; downloads need a license check, which keeps working offline for a while once your key has been confirmed.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for refused or delayed registrations, Copyright Office fees, lost remedies or other losses arising from applications you file.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the version on this page applies from the date shown. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you keep any rights the law of your home country or state gives you.
