Privacy notice
Last updated 21 October 2026.
In short: your photos never leave your device. The photos, file names, titles and dates you add are read and checked inside your web browser. They are never uploaded, never sent to us or anyone else, and never stored by us. They are not saved in your browser either: closing the tab, or pressing "Clear all", removes them.
Who is responsible
CHENFLOW LIMITED (company number 12064784), trading as Register My Photos, is the controller for the limited personal data described below. Contact: hello@registermyphotos.com.
Your photos
We never receive them. The checker is a web page that runs in your browser, on your own device. It is not allowed to send data anywhere except our own site (a security setting in the page enforces this), and the only requests it makes with any content are the license check, which sends your license key, and a note of each export, which sends your license key and the kind of file (titles list, CSV copy or zip). Neither ever includes a photo, file name, title or count. Files you download exist only on your own device.
What we do process
License key checks. When you activate a key or download files, the page sends your license key to our server, which says whether it is valid. Our server also sees your IP address, used only for short term rate limiting to stop abuse and not stored with your key.
Export times, for refunds. When you download a titles list, CSV copy or zip with your license key, the page tells our server, and we record the time of the first and latest export and how many there have been against your license. We use this only to handle refund requests, because a payment is not refundable once something has been exported with its key. We keep it for as long as we keep the license record.
Purchase consent. Before you pay, the pricing page asks you to confirm that you want immediate access and understand you lose your 14 day right to cancel once you export a pack. That confirmation, its time and the version of the wording are passed to Paddle with your order and stored with your license.
What your browser keeps. The page saves your license key in your browser so you do not have to paste it each time. Nothing else is saved.
Purchases. Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, processes your payment and billing details under its own privacy notice. Paddle tells us your email address, so we can email your license key, and the plan, amount and transaction reference. We keep these while your license is active and then as needed for accounting records (normally six years).
License email. We send your key by email using Cloudflare's email service.
Emails to us. If you email us, we keep the conversation to help you. Please do not send us your photos.
Visitor counts. We may count visits to our public pages with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not track you across other sites. It is never used on the checker at /app/. This site sets no tracking cookies. The pricing page loads Paddle's checkout, which may set its own cookies (see Paddle's notice).
Legal bases
Performing our contract with you (licenses, support and refund requests, including export times and your purchase consent), our legitimate interests (preventing abuse, understanding site use in aggregate) and legal obligations (accounting records).
Who else is involved
Cloudflare (hosting, license server, email sending) and Paddle (payments). Some processing may take place outside the UK and your country under appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be corrected or deleted, by emailing hello@registermyphotos.com. If you are in the UK you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. If you are in the US, you may have rights under your state's privacy law; contact us to use them.
